The Inje Smelt Festival, harmonizing with the vast nature of Inje,
is hosted in the middle of enlarging field, allowing those who are attending to become one at the very center of the winter playground and fetch fish.
โจThe festival first started in 1997, along with tourists’ most welcomed attention,
it has been developing and changing in accordance with changing of the time, providing wider ranges of programs.
Within the paradise of nature, enjoy the very come-back home ceremony to the upper reaches of the Soyang River of ice fishes.
You can eat the fish you freshly caught, grilled or mixed with vegetables!

Other than ice fishing, you can walk around the snow and ice-built sculptures!
They are taller than you will expect and definitely worth taking a picture or two.
Inje Smelt festival also has performances going around, take your time to enjoy the music and entertainment!
