You can enjoy the Daegwallyeong Snow Festival every year in January.
The festival, which started in 1993, offers a variety of fun activities in the snowy hills. It’s a unique Korean festival run by the villagers.
There are activities such as an ice slide, snow rafting, snow maze, sheep feeding, and indoor experience center,
hidden singer concert, Pyeongchang Winter Performance Festival, Snowflake Song Festival, traditional snowboarding,
and the process of making dried pollack in the ice igloo.
You can also try different food such as buckwheat pancake, makguksu,
grilled dried pollack, Korean beef, trout sashimi, and potato ongshimi.

Mona Yongpyong Ski Resort, located in Pyeongchang, South Korea,
is a premier destination for skiing and winter sports in Asia.
Famous for its 28 slopes, including the iconic Rainbow Slopes, it caters to all levels, from beginners to experts.
As a host venue for the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics,
it boasts world-class facilities, including high-speed lifts and ski schools.
With stunning views of the Taebaek Mountains and easy access from Seoul,
it’s a perfect getaway for adventure and relaxation.
You can enjoy the breathtaking and beautiful scenery
while riding the longest round-trip Gondola of 7.4km in Korea.
Other than the gondola, there's also the newly built SkyWalk,
where it'll feel like you're walking amongst the clouds.
At Yongpyong Resort families with children can enjoy the 200-meter-wide Sledding slope.
It is just as fun for the children as the adults.
