Aegibong Peace Ecopark has a legend that says that a kisaeng (female entertainer during the old times)
named Aegi loved the Pyeongan ruler until the moment of her death during the Qing Invasion of Joseon.
The peak was named Aegibong Peak!โฐ
Later, this mountain is one of the battle sites of the Korean War that divided Korea into two nations: North and South.

Designed after Venice, the Italian city of water, this plaza is by the Golden Waterway
