๐ฆ GOSEONG BEACH๐ฆ
Beaches in the eastern part of Korea are known for their beautiful blue water and white sands. Goseong’s Songjiho Beach is not an exception.
It’s close to Sokcho, but less crowded. And the views from this beach of the sea,
Jukdo Island and Seoraksan mountain make this a perfect place to relax with the sound of the waves.
GOSEONG DMZ MUSEUM
The DMZ Museum was founded in honor of people's hope for unification of South Korea and North Korea.
It is located at the northernmost area along the east coast near the civilization control line
. The museum features exhibition halls arranged in a number of different themes that highlight the historical significance
and the meaning of the DMZ, from the aftermath of war to its pristine ecosystem.
GOSEONG DMZ OBSERVATORY
Goseong Unification Observation Tower was built by an army unit in 1983,
It is the nearest place for viewing Geumgangsan Mountain in North Korea.
From the observatory, visitors can see the Haegeumgang River and the islands nearby
as well as get a glimpse of various peaks of Geumgangsan Mountain such as Ilchulbong Peak,
Chaehabong Peak, and Oknyeobong Peak. Many monuments are built within the area in hopes of reunification.

The Gangwon Forestry Exhibition 2023 will be held from Sept. 22 to Oct. 22 in four cities, Goseong, Sokcho, Yangyang, Inje.
It is looking to further Gangwon’s presence by combining peace with the history, culture, life, and ecology of forests,
which account for 63 percent of the nation’s land area and 80 percent of Gangwon.
This one is unique status in Expo area
It is a 45m high pine cone-shaped observatory with a panoramic view of Seoraksan Mountain, Ulsan Rock and the East Sea.
There will be plenty of events to enjoy, with forest-related exhibitions, academic events, busking and hands-on activities.

Herbnara Farm is THE place for beautiful garden scenery and knowledge of herbs.
You can find a museum with the history and uses of herbs around the house.
The main attraction is for sure their ten gardens each with a different theme, that contain over 150 types of herbs.
It’s the perfect place to take some nice pictures. It changes with the seasons, so even if you’ve been before there’s always something new.
