The Gangwon Forestry Exhibition 2023 will be held from Sept. 22 to Oct. 22 in four cities, Goseong, Sokcho, Yangyang, Inje.
It is looking to further Gangwon’s presence by combining peace with the history, culture, life, and ecology of forests, which account for 63 percent of the nation’s land area and 80 percent of Gangwon.
This one is unique status in Expo area
It is a 45m high pine cone-shaped observatory with a panoramic view of Seoraksan Mountain, Ulsan Rock and the East Sea.
There will be plenty of events to enjoy, with forest-related exhibitions, academic events, busking and hands-on activities.

2. Forest Peace Center: Talking about the forest of peace. (Takes 30 minutes)
- Peace Forest Media Art/DMZ Drone Rider

4. Recreational Healing Center: Enjoy the healing forest. (Takes 30 minutes)

5. Industrial Exchange Center: Talking about the forest of growth.
