We know a lot of you guys are fans of places with pretty flowers. ๐ป๐ผ๐ท๐น
And we have good news for you! We’re making our way to the Yeoncheon Chrysanthemum Festival next month~
We’re stopping by the neighboring Jaein Falls first!

Isn’t it beautiful? But behind this beauty there is a dark legend surrounding it. There is said that a sad spirit lives in the area resenting his unfair demise.
Aside from the legend, the place is really known for its stunning views, especially in autumn, and it is the home of some endangered species as well.

But you should see these views for yourself~
Next is the main part of the tour, the Yeoncheon Chrysanthemum Festival!
Hosting around 40,000 flower pots and various types and colors of Chrysanthemums, this festival is for sure a colorful experience you don’t want to miss.

Sculptures all over the place are inspired by local Yeoncheon iconic places, one of them is of course the Jaein Falls, which is one of the best photo zones in the festival.

And lastly, we’re submerging ourselves in some ancient history knowledge when entering the Jeongok Prehistoric Museum.
The museum itself was built over the ruins of Jeongok-ri, this is an important site because the first Acheulean hand axe in East Asia was found here. Acheulean tools, come from the tool making practice of the same name. This is the longest cultural tradition to be performed in all of human history.

The museum provides information about life at that time and has the fossil of a real mammoth.
It’s a nice place to learn from the past.

So, are you guys ready for this trip?
We’re heading here mid-October. If you want to join us
