The festival celebrates the most famous dishes of Chuncheon, South Korean called Dakgalbi and Makguksu.
Every year, the city of Chuncheon holds this Festival
where you can find yourself indulging in the local cultural food.๐ฅข
Dakgalbi (marinated chicken sautéed in a spicy sauce with vegetables and tteok) ๐๐ฅต
and Makguksu (buckwheat noodles served in a cold broth) ๐ are two of the most famous specialties of the city of Chuncheon.
Enjoy displays of other local dishes like buckwheat pancakes, seasoned acorn jelly.๐
Additionally, the locals also perform and host many different events such as food contests and many more where you can get a glimpse of the rich South Korean history and culinary heritage.
