A chance to make meaningful memories at the DMZ camping and peace train music festival.
๐บDay 1๐บ
We will begin our journey at the DMZ Peace Town where we will receive important instructions and information about our stay there and have a delicious box lunch.
Next, we will go to the Woljeong Station, the 2nd tunnel for a tour where you will be able to explore the DMZ Peace and Security.
The DMZ (demilitarized zone), a popular tourist attraction, was established in 1953 Korean War Armistice Agreement. It is one of the most heavily-guarded borders but allowed to visit only led by a licensed official tour guide. It is where you will observe one country divided into two and experience the history and learn about the future of Korea.
You will not only learn about Korean history and the events leading up to the creation of the Cheorwon’s DMZ but explore the 2nd tunnel. The Second underground tunnel was found on March 19, 1975 by drilling in land. It is now one of the most popular security tourist sites.
It’s time for some fun and to watch amazing international and local artists!๐
We will participate in the DMZ Peace Train Music Festival, which is a music festival in Goseokjeong Hal. The Festival spreads a socially positive message as it is taking place near the border, it intends to promote peace and unification in a place that divides the two Koreas.๐
The Festival is filled with exciting music! Enjoy every single moment.๐๐๐ฅณ
