The main cities are Pohang, Gumi, Gyeongsan, Gyeongju, Andong, Geimcheon, Yeongju, Sangju, Yeongcheon and Mungyeong. The 13 counties of Gyeongsanbukdo are Chilgok, Uiseong, Uljin, Yecheon, Cheongdo, Seongju, Yeongdeok, Goryeong, Bonghwa, Cheongsong, Gunwi, Yeongyang and Ulleung.
