๐ Danyang is famous for its thrilling paragliding adventures, and our journey took us right to the paragliding site.
But with the sky turning unpredictable, the rain made it too unsafe to fly.
Even so, the experience of standing at the launch point watching the mist roll over
the cliffs and valleys was breathtaking in its own way. ๐ซ๏ธโฐ๏ธโจ
From there, we headed to the lively Danyang Gugyeong Market for lunch,
where the cozy buzz of food stalls and the smell of sizzling street dishes welcomed us from the rain.
Warm bites of jeon and fresh local specialties gave us comfort and energy for the day. ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๏ธ
Next, we boarded the Chungju Lake Cruise at Janghoe Ferry Dock.
The drizzle painted the lake in silver ripples, and the dramatic cliffs rose mystically through the fog.
Sailing through the rain-kissed scenery felt like gliding inside a watercolor painting. ๐ค๐ง๏ธ๐ฟ
Our final stop was the Daegang Brewery, where we enjoyed a hands-on makgeolli experience.
Learning to make and tasting this traditional rice wine was the perfect ending.
