Bucheon Folk Art Tour

Let’s take a break from the busy city of Seoul and explore Bucheon next weekend, 

or any weekend in November!

We will be going to the Bucheon Traditional Market, Bucheon Hanok Experience Village, 

Manhwa (Korean Comics) Museum, and Bucheon Art Bunker 39!

Let’s try new foods at the Bucheon Traditional Market! 🍜

The food is fresh, cheap, and delicious ^^

This market is over 75 years old, and attracts both locals and tourists every day.

We can also walk around a traditional hanok village in Bucheon, 

a government supported project from 2006 to 2011 to encourage tourism to the area.🌿

Here we can look around the nine hanok buildings and experience traditional cultural programs, 

like making Korean food such as ddeok, gochujang, and kimchi. 

Let’s not forget the Korean Comics (Manhwa) Museum 

where over 100 years of Korean comics can be enjoyed in various exhibits! ✏

This is the perfect place for comic, art, and history lovers!

Lastly, we can explore the Bucheon Art Bunker 39, which opened in 2018. 🎨

The name comes from the 39-meter height of the newly renovated 

art and culture space (and cafe!)~
